BBC commentator's wife and family killed in crossbow attack
Carol Hunt, the wife of BBC racing commentator John Hunt, and two of their daughters have been killed in a crossbow attack.
The three women were found dead at a home in Bushey, near Watford, Hertfordshire, on Wednesday afternoon.
A manhunt is underway for a suspect who fled the scene. The BBC has confirmed that the victims are Carol Hunt, 57, and her daughters, Samantha, 33, and Aimee, 29.
In a statement, the BBC said: "We are deeply shocked and saddened to report that the wife and two daughters of our racing commentator John Hunt have been killed in a crossbow attack.
"Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the victims at this difficult time. John is a valued member of the BBC team and we will do everything we can to support him and his family during this tragedy."
