On February 22, 2021, Paul Minnesota Timberwolves President of Basketball Operations Gersson Rosas announced the appointment of Chris Finch as the team's new head coach. Regarded as one of the brightest offensive minds in the game, Finch has over two decades of coaching experience, including stints with the Denver Nuggets and New Orleans Pelicans.
In his introductory press conference, Finch expressed his excitement about the opportunity to lead the Timberwolves, saying, "I have deep respect for the organization and the passionate fan base. I believe in this group of players, and I'm confident that we can achieve great things together."
